Wonderful colours in Copenhagen
Copenhagen is with one of the most exciting yet small city I've seen so far and Denmark itself is a country for which my heart beats. Aside from impressive old castles and colourful houses, the buzzing capital mixes royal history, modern architecture and loads of culture with sustainable living and mouthwatering restaurant scene makes it a different.
As for worldwide survey, Denmark is ranked as the Happiest and Safest country in the World, with 33 hours of work per week, free Universities and Medical care, free Child care, and low level of corruption.
As I worked there for almost 2 years since 2018, I don't have any regrets for one of the nicest Scandinavian country I first visited. Nice people and perfect environment helped me to adopt their surroundings very easily and didn’t make me feel homesick at all. At first glance, it’s hard to believe that a country with terrible winters and short sunny summers could be happy. But after spending 2 years in Copenhagen, I managed to understand why.
On this blog, let me bring you to my most favourite places in Denmark and share you my experiences and tips.
If you like history and architecture, don’t skip the Rosensborg castle and its amazing gardens, where Danish Royalty once lived and now where you’ll find 400 years splendors, royal art treasures and the Crown Jewels.
One of my favourite thing to do when I travel is to visit different kinds of churches. It really makes me relieve spiritually and amazed from the structures by itself. Because of the accessibility when travelling Copenhagen, you can already visit most of their famous places just in a day by walk, by bike or by trains and metro (subway).
This is my favorite street in Copenhagen and it is known as the longest pedestrian-only shopping street in Europe. You can find several shops from budget-friendly chains to most expensive famous brands.
The best part of it, that every December on winter season, they build a Christmas Market on the heart of the shopping street. Good stuffs and clothes for winter, gift ideas for Christmas & affordable but delicious foods that you can find from the market at until midnight. Hygge!
Copenhagen is such a beautiful city and yet an amazing place to wander about, there’s so much to see and to do in Denmark’s capital; from the cool cafes to contemporary cuisine, from charming canals to landscaped garden, from modern museums to cute old castles.
And there you have it! I hope you enjoyed my top places on where to go in Copenhagen, and that you will be able to explore some of the less touristy areas yourself!

Well done Leah!! ❤️❤️❤️
