Fell in love with the City of Love

Visiting Paris is one of the most experience that every traveller should have and one of every persons dream city. It was cold rainy season at exact date a year ago since I first visited the city of love with my cousin and aunt and it was incredible. So as I started my introduction, on this blog, I want to take you to the most lovely city in the world and share you my experiences.

Paris is known as one of the most amazing and popular city in the world; from its high class french cuisines and aesthetic restaurants & cafes to its world-famous buildings and iconic attractions. Aside from that, french culture is also people associates the most because of one of a kind fashions, arts and designs. Old architectures and churches makes the city more classic.

A stunning white-domed Basilica, located on the hill of the Paris, is one of the most must-visit in the city. As we walked through the iconic Montmartre neighborhood, we saw a lot of very classic restaurants & painting shops and unique souvenir shops as well. And to reach the Basilica, we took a hundred stairs and the breath-taking view of the city suprised us. As I stand and look in front of the Basilica, I really appreciate how beautiful the city is

Continuing our journey, we decided to go to the main city where most of the famous attractions are. Of course, our trip will never be complete without food. So before going to our next stop, we went to a very fancy restaurant and we had steak with fries & Crème brûlée for dessert.

Louvre Museum
This glass pyramid museum is the world's largest museum and where famous paintings located like Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci and the Marriage in Cana by Paolo Veronese. Famous status and other artworks can also be found in the museum. We were so unlucky because when the time that we went there, the museum was closed. So instead to feel disappointment, we've just enjoy touring around and took a lot of pictures.

Eiffel Tower
The highlight of our tour is to see the most world's recognizable landmark, the Eiffel Tower. The moment that I was looking through the tower is really amazing. Its everyones dream to see the Eiffel tower, which I was just seeing from movies and postcards before, and now I can tell how lovely it is in real.

On its nearby, we rode on a boat tour called the Seine Cruise where it tours along the Seine River and we saw most of the main attractions in the city like the Eiffel, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Conciergerie, the Musée d'Orsay and other historical monuments. Daytime boat touring is nice if you want to take good pictures but in the evening is the best time to glimpse the city especially while sitting on the deck of the cruise and seeing all the lights reflecting on the water. So romantic!

Tips:
1. I highly recommend to take the Seine Cruise Tour if you are planning to visit Paris so you can see the beauty of the city.

2. Google Maps and City Mapper are the best apps to seek help for their transportations.

3. Hotels and fancy apartments are mostly expensive especially in the city so better to rent hostels or airbnb apartments
for 3-4 days holiday-cation.

Paris is a romantic place, no doubt. And I hope that one day, I can visit there again. But this time, I want to visit there with my special someone and I want to do simple romantic things with him, like holding hands while staring at the tower. Because now I completely understand the feeling why do people really admire the City of Love.

So there you have it! It is really my pleasure to share my little experience and I hope that I helped and inspired you with this. Looking forward for more travel!
