The Basic Traveller

We are living in this world where everything is limited and temporary but I believe that everything happens for a reason. Reason to live because good thing might happen in your life; reason to smile even though life is full of sorrow; and reason to be grateful because you are blessed. Happiness is a feeling that comes over you when you know that life is good and every person has their own way of happiness. I want to share in this blog about what makes me happy when I travel and things I earned from it.

I never travel that much locally way back in the Philippines. Fast forward, I got my passport when I was 22. Who would’ve thought that Europe was my first destination. And as a first timer working far from my home country wasn’t easy. I didn’t know anyone In Denmark, (my first country). So I learned to become independent and open-minded at the same time. Since then, I start to make friends socially and go begin travel and that’s the time that I feel more optimistic. After few months, I went to a lot of famous countries in Europe like France, Germany, Norway and so on.

Be a better person:

Travel is really a life-changing. I can say that I grew more and I learned how to know myself deeper in a way of being independent. It also give me self confidence, become more socialized and explored my other side of personality & I learned more culture and knowing their way of living is really extraordinary experienced. Because of travel, I can say that I became more compulsive person in a way of getting amazed by little things, because small things matters the most.

Flexibility:

The most important thing when travelling is being flexible and get easily adopt the place; by food nor by people. Exploring more adventurous places & activities is better than being so picky for choosing the perfect place to go. To be honest, I don't have any bucket-list before. I just go-with-the-flow with my friends who wants to do this and that. Luckily, I don't have any regretion at all.

Limitations:

I was once got broke from the first two countries that I been to before because of buying not-so-compulsory things. I go to a place when I want to and I can do whatever I want to do; I can provide my own needs and I can buy whatever things I want. Beyond that, I have to remind myself about my limitations and priorities. Gradually and until now, I’m still learning to spend less and enjoy more time when travel.

My collections:

One of my most collections when I travel is pictures. I spend a lot of time taking picture of something that made me amazed. Then little by little, I got interested collecting keychains and ref magnets as souvenirs from the countries that I been to. And everytime I saw it, it really made me impressed that all those places from postcards and movies, are those places that I have been already.

We only lived once and we never know what life brings us. Everyone has the same hours a day so it depends on how will you spend the most out of it. For me, travel really cost money but it gives tones of memories in return and will last a lifetime. Until now, i'm still thinking where to go next, because this is the only thing that I can give to myself.
