The Beauty of Budapest
Its been a year since I visited the beautiful city of Budapest and I hope I can visit again soon because aside from a lot of things to do, there's so much nice and beautiful places/spots to see. And that is why Budapest is the second city I liked the most.
Across the Buda end of the Chain Bridge, there is a Castle Hill Funicular that takes the passengers to the castle level. But we didn't get a chance to try that funicular so the stares saves our lives.
Before going back to the other side, we've cross the bridge, that connects the Buda to Pest. This bridge is considered as one of the most beautiful bridges in the World.
Theres also more to see on the "Pest" side and one of these is the St. Stephens Basilica. It was located at St. Stephen's Square and you can find a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants as well.
Call me childish but this next picture is really my thing. I don't know but it really makes me happy whenever I saw a Ferris Wheel. Who didn't?! Or maybe its just me.
This pool is not just an ordinary but this is a medicinal thermal bath and it was the best experienced that we had in Budapest. This was the very first thing that we did when we arrived there for us to relax from our long trip. Aside from the 3 big outdoor pools, they have also 15 indoor baths and of course the thing that I like the most, Sauna. No wonder why a lot of people from different places visit this impressive thermal pool just to relax.
Autumn 2019 when I and one of my good friend visited Budapest and the city itself made me fell in love with it. Amazing castles structures, lovely restaurants and most of all, the over looking view.
So I want to share to you my best places I been to Budapest and some instagrammable photos and experience too.
This is one of the most highlight of the city and the most popular tourist destination in Budapest. It's hard to imagine the panorama of Budapest embankments without this magnificent building; the structure itself is so spectacular. Luckily that we found a nice apartment right next to this stunning building. At night it also lights up beautifully.
2. Shoes on the Danube Promenade
Just in front of the Parliament, is the memorial monument of the Jews, sculpted by Gyula Pauer. He created it on the east bank of the Danube River to honour the Jews who were killed in Budapest during World War II.
3. Fisherman's Bastion
This is a must visit fairytale-like castle on the "Buda" side, the Fisherman's Bastion. Its white marble stone structure makes it so stunning and with gorgeous overlooking views of the Parliament and the Bridge. Up on its hill, don't leave without getting the Chimney cake, the very popular hungarian street pastry from the little bakery. It is a sweet wrapped dough cooked on a wooden cylinder and baked over the embers and rolled it in a sugar and cinnamon.
Strolling towards the church, you can find some souvenir shops and cafes too.
As I mention on my previous blog, that I like visiting churches whenever I travel. But this time, we didn't get a chance to see the inside of Matthias church because it was close. But i'm still amazed.
5. Buda Castle
A lot of walks and stares that we took up on the hill just to see the massive castle is really worth it. As far as I know, this building are occupied by two museums: The National Gallery and the National Library. From that hill, you can also see the the jaw dropping view on the whole "Pest" side.
Across the Buda end of the Chain Bridge, there is a Castle Hill Funicular that takes the passengers to the castle level. But we didn't get a chance to try that funicular so the stares saves our lives.
6. Széchenyi Chain Bridge
7. St. Stephens Basilica
Theres also more to see on the "Pest" side and one of these is the St. Stephens Basilica. It was located at St. Stephen's Square and you can find a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants as well.

8. Széchenyi Thermal Bath
9. Vintage Garden Restaurant
This restaurant is too feminine but it is really "instagrammable" spot to the next level. We were really amazed by its fresh flowers decorations and the delicious food as well.
Two days in Budapest is really enough if you plan your trip perfectly ahead of time and it will be less stressful to you when travelling. I hope this blog helps you a little with my ideas and inspire you to see the beauty of Budapest.
